Where is Driftcurrent located?
We are located in the center of Playa del Carmen. We do not have a physical store but you can contact us by email or phone and we can make an appointment to meet and plan your adventures with us.
Do you only operate in Playa del Carmen
We operate throughout the Riviera Maya, mainly in Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Cozumel. But we have availability to move where you need it.
Do all your underwater adventures include phooto shoot?
In all our underwater adventures such as diving courses and tours, whale shark expedition and bull shark diving you have the possibility to include your professional photo session. While you enjoy the experience 100%, we take care of portraying those special moments, creating pieces of high-quality photographic art so that you remember those moments forever.
What kind of photo shoot do you offer and where are they held?
We have different types of photo sessions. Artistic underwater portrait sessions, such as fashion photo sessions, marriage proposals, trash the dress and even with your dog!
Our photography studio is in the Nature area, in the beautiful cenotes, located between Playa del Carmen Tulum and Cancún.
We also have the option of holding the session in a private pool.
For the scuba diving photoshoots our studio is the cenotes and the ocean.
I have never done an underwater photo session. Do I need experience?
Nope! No experience is necessary to take a photo shoot. Both in our underwater portrait sessions and diving sessions we teach you to feel comfortable in the water and we give you the best tips to get that photo you always imagined.
How much does an underwater photo session cost in the Riviera Maya?
Prices may vary depending on the type of photo session and location you want.
Choose your adventure, the number of people to participate and we will make you a personalized budget.
How many days in advance do I need to book my underwater photo shooting or diving adventure?
Reservations can be made at least 48 – 72 hours in advance in order to organize everything and ensure that the weather allows us to carry out the activity.
