Together we founded Drift Current, a company that offers water adventures along with professional underwater photography services. Our aim is to create an incredible underwater adventure to give you a unique and unforgettable life experience.
We are both photographers and diving instructors. Our formation in marine biology, fine arts and fashion communication combined with our passion for the ocean and photography, was the foundation of DriftCurrent.
Hi, I’m Elenora, from Italy. I’ve always been fascinated by marine biology documentaries, with the desire to become an underwater videographer one day. I studied Marine Biology at the University in Italy, and worked as a research assistant in Australia. I’ve always been practicing many sports, including yoga and scuba diving, and I decided to become a scuba instructor to improve my skills for my marine biologist career. I lived and worked in the Bahamas for 2 years, where I started with some underwater photography too. Then I decided to move to Mexico in 2017, where I found the perfect spot for my passions, between sharks and cenotes. As a yoga teacher I also love to share relaxation techniques during our underwater photoshoots.
Hi, I’m Esther, born in the north of Spain. Since I was 20 years old I have been traveling and studying in different places. I started with my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Spain but finished my studies in Portugal, combining my career with graphic design and photography. Passionate about fashion, I moved to Barcelona to study fashion styling and communication design. My other passion, travel and nature, led me to backpack through Southeast Asia, where I discovered the world of scuba diving and I fall totally in love. I became a diving instructor and underwater photographer. In 2016, I decided to move to the Mayan Riviera, to carry out incredible underwater adventures and to be able to portray them
