Our underwater photoshoots are a great way to experience an entirely different day for yourself. Water creates an environment where you can try different positions and play with fabrics, dance underwater or simply lay down and focus on yourself. If you’ve ever had dreams of flying or just want to float in slow motion then our Underwater Portraits are perfect for you! We will teach you how to immerse in the water to create some stunning images.
Dress as you want: bring your favorite dress or bikini, cosplay gear or even your mermaid tail to your session!
With these Underwater Portraits you can have incredible images that will be a forever memory and they will be new, original and unique on your Facebook or Instagram profile as well!

CHILDREN AND FAMILY UNDERWATER PORTRAITS
Infants up to 6 months old have the “diving reflex,” also known as the bradycardic response: if they are submerged in water they will naturally hold their breath.
Underwater portraits with your child are such a unique way to catch those precious childhood memories.
It is a joy to see children who are confident in the water. Learning to swim is such an important skill for all children to learn. If you have a confident little swimmer and would like some beautiful underwater photos this will be the perfect experience!
We love working with family groups, which is great fun and a change from the usual family portrait.

DOGS UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY
Underwater portraits with your dog? Yes! Play in the swimming pool with your best friend while we capture those fun and beautiful moments for you!

Everyone! No modeling or freediving experience is requested!
We work with people of all ages and abilities, male and female, from professional models and freedivers to regular people. Prerequisite? The wish to try something extraordinary! We’ve even had clients who can’t swim, but wanted to push themselves to achieve a great photograph!
We are experienced and certified scuba instructors, we will give you the basic and necessary training as the support during the photoshoot.

Our favorite place for this magical photoshoot is the cenote, freshwater sinkhole in the jungle. We have many cenotes from Cancun to Tulum.

If you have your own car we will give you the meeting point or the cenote location. Alternatively, we can organize your transfortation with an extra fee.

Photos are taken above and below the surface. Split photos are also very unique and beautiful, perfect if you don’t like to put your head underwater.

No, you don’t need to know how to swim! Most of the photos are taken next to the surface and you can step on rocks. We create a safe and relaxed atmosphere to help you during your Underwater photoshoot. We will be always close to you, ready to catch you before you feel any discomfort.

During your underwater portrait adventure you will hold your breath just for few seconds. We are there to help you in the water, leaving you alone just for the shot, a few seconds to capture it. Water creates incredible reflections at the surface, the best photos are actually close to the surface, with your head just there.

Feel free to be natural or put makeup on, as you like. The importance is to feel beautiful and comfortable with yourself.
Just remember water does make the skin tones pale and reduces contrast in eyes and lips, so maybe some makeup will give you some extra color, but we have clients who prefer natural style too.
We offer waterproof basic make up, or a professional makeup artist available on request.

Yes you can use contact lenses that day. Just remember they may move around, so maybe you should keep your eyes closed underwater. Take extra contact lenses with you anyway!

Cenotes are fresh water sinkholes, but they have a little percent of salt water. In some cenotes you can see the halocline, due to a rapid change in salinity with depth.
In fresh water our bodies sink more than in the sea, this is why we support you with life jackets and step on rocks to keep energy and float easier.
You can open our eyes with no problem, you will not feel the salt burning sensation!

The water temperature of the cenotes is around 77°-78° Fahrenheit or 25°-26° Celsius. Bring towels and dry clothes with you, our bodies lose heat 20 times faster underwater than air! If you are too cold we do little breaks with hot tea to warm you up!

We always offer different fabrics you can choose according to your colors, but if you want something specific we suggest you to bring your own. We can help you to choose the dress or fabric with our stylist!
We recommend long and flowy dresses with bright colors, but bring what you feel like, the importance is to feel beautiful and confident, we will create magic together!

Of course men are welcome! We love working with guys just as much as with girls. Underwater we can create such a masculine and powerful photos.

Yes! Cenotes are such a great place to enjoy your day. Feel free to bring family and friends to your underwater portrait. They can stay in nature, swim around the cenote or just watch and support you. Feel free to stay there and enjoy this magical place after our shooting.

Yes, we shoot in raw and edit the photos to improve the light and colors, to give you the final jpeg picture, but if you prefer to have the original jpeg file just let us know.

It usually takes us 10 days for editing and sending you your gallery link by email, where you can download the final files without losing the quality of the pictures.
We keep your link available for 1 month, but if you are traveling and need more time just let us know.

We are located in Playa del Carmen, but we operate in Cozumel and along the Riviera Maya too.
We organize local dives with photo service on shared or private boats from Playa del Carmen.
Cozumel and Cenotes are a must if you visit this area.

Scuba diving in the Riviera Maya is incredible, from the coral reef to the deep walls of Cozumel to the magical Cenotes in the jungle.
It depends on what you prefer. We will help you to choose the best for you, according to your capabilities and wishes.

We are not providing hotel pick-up services, but we can organize the transportation for the cenote dives, to organize during your booking.

Yes you can! In fact, if you are a certified diver we highly recommend diving in our incredible cenotes while visiting the Riviera Maya!
If you have not been diving over a year we will require that you first complete a Refresher before we will be able to take you in the cenote.

If you have not dived within one year we require that you take a Refresher. You can do it before arriving here or with us in Playa del Carmen. This is for your own safety as well as for the conservation of our very delicate corals and cenotes which require total buoyancy control.

Your family/friend is very welcome to join you during your cenotes dives. If the car is full your partner can follow our guide either in a taxi or with a rental car. Not all of our dive sites are suitable for snorkeling, so check with us during your booking.
We don’t recommend bringing friends on the boat because you have to pay extra for them and they may get sea sickness or get bored while you are underwater.

If you are staying in Cozumel you will first have to take the Ferry from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen and then we will meet. Send us a message to organize it.

Yes you can!
We start in the morning with the theoretical part on land followed by a short underwater skills swimming pool session. We will take you on 2 dives in the ocean in the afternoon.

We use professional underwater cameras, with housings and strobes. We shoot in raw, edit the pictures and send you the final jpeg high quality files.

Yes we do videos too. We offer little video clips or edited videos with music. Tell us your ideas and we will discuss with you.

The photo package includes the photos during your scuba dive experience (between 30 and 60 photos of you and the environment) and some videoclips (2-4 videos of a few seconds). The quantity depends also on your experience and skills underwater. If you would like extra photos or videos just let us know and we will organize a personalized package for you.

Depending on which dive you are booking, ocean or cenote, we give you a briefing about photos and videos. We explain underwater signals to communicate and we give you some tips about positions and locations for the shooting. We try to give you different photo styles, from portraits to wide angle and group photos. You don’t need to be a model, you just enjoy your dive, we follow you and your scuba guide taking natural photos too. This is why we are here, to let you live the present moment, watching everything with your eyes: “you live it, we capture it!”

Yes, we offer photography courses. We can teach you photography theory and underwater shoots. Contact us to discuss it, depending on your skills and wishes.
